Lawyer Skender Musa has declared that Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has intervened in the independence of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK), failing to decree Blerim Isufajn for the chief prosecutor.
He has declared on Wednesday “60 Minutes” that Osman is obeying Prime Minister Albin Kurti's orders, adding that it “has thought of its own”.
The president has intervened in the independence of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council. The Prosecutorial Council has to go with political resentment, but I think it should announce a new competition and choose the best candidate without prejudice. The president is carrying out the prime minister's orders, he has no opinion. I am convinced that there will still be the same blockade, or the KKP will continue to be taskeering”, Musa said.
According to the lawyer, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council must act with resentment, but offer solutions by announcing transparent competitions and avoiding violations that are recorded by foreign embassies.
Musa has added further than Osman S quite has given the decision on decree, but only notice -- and that, according to him, was intended to have no space to send the process to the Constitutional Court.
While speaking of the veting process, Musa has indicated that there is danger of taking the justice system under policy control.
