Lebanon's Hezbollah leader has met with senior leaders of Palestinian militant factions Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

According to foreign media, Telegrafi traces, they discussed what their alliance must do to create a real victory for resistance”, Hezbollah said on Wednesday.

Part of a regional alliance supported by Iran, heavily armed Hezbollah has had daily shootout with Israeli forces along the Israeli-Libanian border since the war broke out between Israel and Hamas on 7 October.

As further known, the meeting included Sayed Hassan Nasrallah of Hezbollah, Hamas' deputy chief Saleh al-Arouri and the chief of the Islamic Jihad, Ziad al-Nakhala, Hezbollah said in a statement.
However, he did not say when the meeting was held.

“became an assessment of the ongoing international positions and what should the parties of the Resistance do... to realise a real victory for resistance in Gaza and Palestinian and to halt brutal aggression”, Hezbollah was quoted as saying further, adding that “has had agreements to continue co-ordination”.

Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that two other fighters had been killed, increasing the death toll in its ranks to 40 fighters since the beginning of the last conflict.

Their meeting comes at the time when Israel is preparing an earthly invasion of Gaza.

This was confirmed Wednesday by Benjamin Netanyah in a television statement, however, that refused to provide any details about time or other information about the operation.

He said Wednesday that the decision that when forces enter the blocked Palestinian territory would be taken by the government's special war cabinet.
