Krasniqi for the UN meeting: Member States show soft on Serbia's aggression in the north

University professor at the University of Pristina (UP) Milazim Krasniqi said that the Security Council member state has shown softness in the terminology used last night during a discussion at the UN Security Council (OKB), where it was debated about the September 24th attack on Kosovo's north. According to him, the terms will [...]
According to him, the terms would have to be stricter as Serbia has exercised direct aggression against Kosovo. He added that not alone The UN, but neither the EU nor the EU have a clear stance on the September 24th attack.
He in an interview for Online Economy stressed that last night at this meeting Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, in her speech, has presented his stance correctly.
These meetings are unfortunately held within a narrow framework which Kosovo is treated, within a 1244 resolution, and this certainly has its own-sequency even in the way it is discussed. If it were a position for two sovereign states terms would be much tougher, because as Serbia is known to have exercised direct aggression against Kosovo, the terminology that was normally used was much softer. There is no change in the position that the security council on Kosovo's status holds, of course the president has presented his positions correctly, but the fact remains that not only The UN, but not even the European Union yet has a clear stance regarding the aggression that has come from Serbia in the direction of Kosovo”, he said.
Professor Krasniqi said there is no change from last night's discussions as far as the Security Council is staying on Kosovo's status is concerned.
There is no positive movement in their position, they speak of both sides as solutions to dialogue for peaceful solutions, all kinds of bullshit, and that actually does not represent any kind of policy change or Kosovo status at the Security Council”.
