So the state of Kosovo left unused over half a billion euros of external loans approved over the years, which it never spent.
Blendie Hasey, executive director at the GAP institute, told Klan Kosova that by the month of June 2023 there are 634m euros in loans which are ratified in the Assembly, but have not attracted Kosovo institutions.
The GAP Institute sees this as poor planning by Kosovo governments, which the National Auditing Office stressed.
Even penalizations for what the State is considered to pay in vain are in order not to withdraw this money. An opposition MP, part of the blame for that, leaves the current executive who, according to Ferat Shala, is not managing well with public money.
During this year, the Kurti Government has also been criticised for very low spending on capital investments in some ministries.
