Justice ministry leaves four northern municipalities without swim

Citizens of five municipalities address only two offices. This is because Leposaviqi, Zubin Potoku, Zvecani and North Mitrovica do not have their swimmers.

A resident of Zubin Potok is saying that they are therefore limited. So they're also forced to travel to southern Mitrovica for this service.

Our community here has no attorney in Caber. We're limited to performing certain jobs. But we do notary work in southern Mitrovica. It's important because we need to get out of here. It even happens that we've been ambushed for a long time because there are long lines of”, has declared Enver Hasani a citizen of Zubin Potok.

Besides Albanian citizens of these municipalities, there are many Serb citizens seeking services in the south.

One of the two swimmers, Kabil Merovci, also indicated the services they seek.

We both notaries in Mitrovica cover five municipalities. Every day we have requests from the northern side despite their nationality. Citizens from the Serbian community occasionally seek services for sale of property, one of the most rare cases since cabil Merovci, the northern side, and most frequent, cadastral offices are auto services and child registration in municipalities”, has highlighted the Kabil Merovci Nomer, South Mitrovica.

And apparently a solution is coming about.

The Justice Ministry has shown television that they are planning to open the swimming competition.

The justice ministry has named the commission to pass the exam for notary, which is in the final phase of preparation for announcing the deadline for exam application. The Ministry of Justice also encourages all communities indiscriminately to apply for the exam on notary”, the Ministry of Justice says.

The very issue of the lack of swimmers in northern municipalities has been raised as a constant concern by citizens and civil society in this part. / RTV Dukagini/
