The Israeli Army has announced that a senior Hamas commander who helped plan the 7 October attacks was killed.
Israeli Defence Forces said the fighter planes had hit Shadi Barud, Hamas' deputy head of intelligence based on “precise intelligence”, the BBC writes.
By publishing a video of the air strike that they claimed killed him, The IDF said Barud “planned the Babylonian attacks on October 7th along with Yahya Sinwar” the head of Hamas at the Gaza Strip.
The BBC is unable to independently verify the killings on the battlefield. Hamas still hasn't commented.
