Haradinaj calls on Albanians in Montenegro: Essential to be in line with US, EU

AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has reacted after the poor political situation already created in Montenegro.

He has said that the formation of Montenegro's new government, except that it reflects civic will and political pluralism, should incompatible to embody pro-Western values related to NATO, European integration.

“As the nation's country, we are always in line with US foreign policy, as far as developments in the region and global ones are concerned. In this context, we consider that the formation of Montenegro's new government, except that it reflects civic will and political pluralism, should incompatibly embody pro-Western values, related to NATO, European integration, good neighbouring and refusing external destructive influences and interventions on the part of Serbia and its partner, Russia”, Haradinaj has said.

Haradinaj has added that Albanians in Montenegro should see pro-American and pro-European orientation necessary.

We expect the Albanian political factor in these processes, now and in the future, participation and reflection of the will of Albanian citizens in all institutions of Montenegro, to see first and foremost the necessity of pro-American and pro-European orientation. Any other approach by any acts in Montenegro would be harmful for the region in the short term, but for Montenegro itself in a long-term” outlook has ended Haradinaj.
