Meanwhile, US mine miners have solidified United Mine Workers (UMWA).
This union organization has written letter to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, with which they have expressed their support for miners of the Independent Union of HINA TRI EXAMPLES who are on hunger strike from October 24th
The “is a tragic situation when workers who risk their lives every day for the sake of their country are obliged to conduct a hunger strike to secure a fair collective agreement that offers dignity, a safe working environment, vital health benefits and fair compensation for the critical service they offer”, said the letter.
According to the letter, The UMWA wants the prime minister to do everything to quickly and justly resolve this strike, ensuring that miners are assured of security and dignity.
“We will continue to remain in solidarity with our brothers and sisters of the Independent Union of the Miners TRI EXACT and praying for the quick and just solution of this strike”, says among other things in UMWA's letter to Prime Minister Kurti.
