German Ambassador to Serbia: Form association and hold elections in the north

German Ambassador to Serbia Anke Konrad has said the current situation for the people in northern Kosovo is unstable, demanding rapid return to dialogue, establishing the Serbian Communist Association and holding local elections in majority Serb municipalities. Conrad also made it known [...]
Conrad, among other things, has also made it known that the de-progressation plan must be implemented, which implies hate language and the whiteening of the events of September 24th in Banjska.
The “Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is very important. It is important for us at this moment to create the preconditions to renew that dialogue as soon as possible and to implement the agreements reached in Brussels in 2013, as well as the agreements reached this year in Brussels and Ohrid, which naturally include the creation of the Serb majority communities. These include implementing de-progression, meaning hate speech and lighting up the September 24th events in Banjska. The current situation is not sustainable for people in northern Kosovo, as well as for people in Serbia and Kosovo in general”, she told the Serbian media, Blic.
Asked what may and should be the first steps to get out of the current situation, she said:
The “at this most important moment is de-progression on both sides, giving up provocations on both sides, and lighting facts in Banjska. It's an important issue for people's safety. Firm steps must be taken as soon as possible to resolve all vital issues of the people through dialogue, which includes the creation of a Serb majority municipality of municipalities. There must be new elections as soon as possible and the return of Kosovo Serbs to joint institutions”, she said.
