Awareers of political issues in Kosovo say their arrival also has to do with changing forms of dialogue, until they stress that the EU should have clear actions towards Serbia.
Following recent developments in northern Kosovo, the five majors are expected to come to Kosovo on Saturday, later in Serbia, with their efforts to resume dialogue between the two countries.
And analysts in Kosovo say their efforts should have a greater impact, as they stress, the current format of dialogue has produced nothing.
Analyst Arta Tahiri said the reason for their coming has to do with exactly how the format of dialogue will change.
“Chronically if we look at events, not only in Kosovo, but in every country of the world, when the format dialogue implemented so far has not produced success, there has always been another phase when a “-take or leave” format, which has been used as an expression for two countries, so that the agreement that is served at the table is certainly applicable to both sides. If this spirit of negotiations continues, requiring Kosovo's release, but also another approach from Serbia, then it will go into endlessly and will not produce concrete results. Therefore, I think that recently with Serbia's established situation and the approach of Serbia's leaders towards Kosovo, it should definitely be placed points on “I” to understand what this format will be and what will be the cut form if they want final solutions between two neighbouring states such as Kosovo and Serbia”, she said.
While, university professor, Dorajet Imer, said emisars do not have what they want in Kosovo, unless they show clear actions towards Serbia.
Serbia has witnessed directly involved in an act aimed at ruining Kosovo's political system. So an act of aggression that Serbia stands behind terrorist groups, so it is involved, Serbia is the terrorist group. And if the European Union oversteps this as if nothing happened, I strongly believe that they are simply not interested in deals, but are interested in crisis management. The disaster is that they are greatly damaging Kosovo's position in the international arena”, he said.
Days ago, EU spokesman for Foreign Policy and Security Peter Stano has confirmed that EU Special Representative for Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak, accompanied by senior advisers of leaders of Germany, France, Italy and the United States of America, will travel on Saturday, October 21st to Kosovo and Serbia to meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and then with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in Belgrade.
He has said the aim of this visit is to achieve concrete progress in implementing the Agreement on the road to normalisation and extension following recent developments in northern Kosovo. Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, met for the last time on September 14th, which failed to agree with plans to sequence the implementation of agreements.
