“Europe is being insincere of it

Croatia's President Zoran Milanovic at a joint conference with Albania's President Bajram Begaj said European Union countries are showing insincereness with Albania and Kosovo. He said he is the only non-Albanian who is demanding that Kosovo be recognised as a state, as according to him, Europe does not mention it. [...]
He said he is the only non-Albanian who is demanding that Kosovo be recognised as a state, as according to him, Europe does not mention it. According to Milanovic, even though 11 years have passed and Albania has moved ahead, the europa still appears to have other expectations.
I'm witnessing Albania's development in all aspects in 20 years. Unfortunately, this progress has not been conveyed with relevant institutional reactions on the part of the European Union. I want to say something that I first said in 2012, when Prime Minister Sali Berisha was, but circumstances were similar. At the time, Albania had been a member of NATO for three years. Serbia and Montenegro had advanced at the time, but nothing happened to Albania. This nonsense who was visible then is visible even now.
A state that is highly organised to be a member of NATO, at the same time advancing towards another alliance like the European Union, there Albania has not even been able to take the first step, even to get out of bed. This is insincere, it's not right. 11 years later, we moved a little bit, but not long.
This is a lot about the European Union, our priorities. The fact is that I am one of the only ones who am not Albanian, and I have made the call in New York to accept Kosovo. That's the subject Mr. President talked about. I know that the whole of Europe, but I wouldn't mention it, that's not very good and honest. This is useless and even harmful to us. We have been hearing similar arguments for 12 years, and as time passes, obstacles become more difficult. A few things are being done”, the Croatian president said. /euronews. al
