We establish that there are sufficient indicators justifying accepting this order involving Mahir Hasani. The document dated May 31, 1998. As far as the source of this order is concerned, this document was found in Jakup Krasniqi's house”, prosecutor Matt Halling said.
The prosecutor said that according to this document, Mahir Hasani made available to the Drenoc base under the command of “German”, of which the witness said it was Gema Gashi.
In the first sentence of this document, Mr. Mair Hasani of Peja makes available the Drenoci base under Mr. Germany”, the Prosecutor said.
For this document, the witness said it is the same date that Mair Hasani had gone to Drenoc but says he doesn't know who wrote it.
“The same date is 31. I don't know, whoever wrote it, let him show”, the witness said.
This document was accepted as material evidence by the court, but there were objections from Hashim Thaci's defence through lawyer Gregory Keohe and Jakup Krasniqi's defence through lawyer Aidan Ellis.
Lawyer Keohe said there is no basis for accepting this document and that the witness has no connection with it.
There is no basis for accepting this document at all. This witness has nothing to do with this document. He says he hasn't seen him before. It's a document that hasn't been signed by anyone, so how do we determine the integrity of this document, how do we prove it? We say there is no topic to this document”, attorney Keohe said.
And attorney Ellis said that they have the same objection.
We have the same objection. It is a document that is not signed, nor does it bear a seal, nor does it reveal anything as far as its author is concerned. It's an incomplete document that first the seed is said; the authorized person and then we have two figures and there's nothing else that's written and so the witness can't prove this document”, Ellis said.
