Two people have been shot dead in Belgium's capital, Brussels, on Monday evening, police have said.
The armed person has fled the crime scene and is still on the run, the BBC has learned.
Local media said the victims were Swedish. Sweden is playing against Belgium within the Euro-2024 qualifying framework, even though it is unclear whether the victims were in town for the match.
A video posted in social media shows a person speaking Arabic who says the attack was carried out in God's name.
The guy in the video says he killed three people.
The Federal Attorney's office confirmed that it saw the video, but it couldn't confirm that he was the delivery officer.
The video and other images of the attack are being verified by police, the BBC has learned.
A spokeswoman for the prosecutor's office said an investigation has been launched, but has not speculated about the gloves' motives.
Belgian media report that the gunman, using an automatic weapon, has left the scene.
The attack reportedly occurred at 7: 00 a.m. local time near Boulevard d'ypres in downtown Brussels.
