“Cosev” writes that this morning heavy machinery has begun clearing ground in the vicinity of primary school “Giovanni Cvijq” in Zubin Potok. A Kosovo Police station will be built there, which, according to Kossev, has sparked discontent among local residents.
Veton Elshani, spokesman for the northern Kosovo Police, has said it is about a decision in 2018 and has now been approved for launching the works. Elshani has indicated that they have worked in private homes so far.
And since we were in private house, the decision was made in 2018, we were approved to start building now, otherwise the decision was made earlier”, Elshani said.
He also confirmed that police containers will be placed there first.
Because the police station is currently in a private house, we have to leave and we're putting containers up until this station is built”, Elshani told Express.
