Conjufca's meeting with British MP is postponed, the reason remains

The unprecedented meeting was postponed for today at 1: 00 p.m., between Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca and British MP Alica Kearns.

“We announce that the meeting of Republic of Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, with British MP Alicia Kearns, warned for today at 1: 00 p.m., is indefinitely postponed”, the announcement said.

British MP Alicia Kearns said in July that there are weapons being smuggled from Serbia to Kosovo through ambulances and being fired to Orthodox churches. She said British KFOR is aware of this.

“The government is aware, with Fusiliers [the British military regime] just back from serving KFOR, that there are weapons smuggling across the border from Serbia to Orthodox churches with ambulances. When our troops are aware of this and try to get permission to go and get them, the permits last very long. By the time he has an unexpected permission, an ambulance has already gone to church and fired all of his weapons” again.

In the July 4th address to the Britain's Parliament, largely dedicated to the Srebrenica commemoration, it also cited the export of arms of Great Britain to Serbia, reports Express.

It will briefly affect our export policies towards Serbia. I am very concerned about the fact that we are selling small ammunition to Serbia. Since police against terrorism there have carried out attacks and kidnapped three Kosovo police officers, how do we know that nothing we have sold to Serbia is used in that context?

Kearns urged that all exports to Serbia be suspended.
