Conjufca: European Asociation Proposal in line with Constitution

Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca has stated that the European Weight Proposal for Association is in line with the Kosovo Constitution.

So said Conjufca, the Periscope broadcast:

Our government has witnessed the Ohrid Agreement. As for the plan proposed and new ideas they should be carefully examined and make a difference.

The difference that I think is essential, has to do with the fact that for association it should not be negotiated, this is not the central topic of negotiations with Serbia.

It is like an earlier 2013 agreement, since the government has been able to shape it in 2015, it has collapsed from the Constitutional Court.

Now, the process is that following the dismissal of the group, which was aimed at proposing a draft, this draft of Association took place, but it was a popular form of Republika Srpska within Kosovo, it was rejected and this group was dismissed by the government.

As Kosovo's responsibility, it is up to Kosovo if it thinks it can become an association in accordance with the Constitution, without executive competence, then it is in the competence of Kosovo, not Serbia.

I have not carefully examined the plan, just a superficial look, but it is in line with the Constitution of Kosovo and does not represent any third level of power.

I think that if any draft of the Association occurs, it should happen on the part of the Kosovo government.
