UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has said he is concerned about the attacks reported on Israel from southern Lebanon, urging those involved to avoid spreading conflict.
He spoke as Israeli officials suggested that as many as 15 paragliders had entered airspace in northern Israel, although details of the apparent encouragement were not immediately clear.
“I call on all sides and those who have influence over those sides to avoid any further escalation and expansion”, he told reporters, the BBC writes.
