UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said on Wednesday that the attacks of Hamas' militant group in Israel do not justify “collective punishment” of Palestinians and called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Rip. Speaking at an economic forum in China, Mr. Guterres condemned the October 7th attack by Hamas militants in Israel, in which 1400 people were killed.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said today he is terrified of the attack at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, in which hundreds of people were killed.
“E strongly condemn this attack. I call for an immediate humanitarian truce to create enough opportunity and space to help people who are suffering too much. Many people's lives are in danger, the entire region is in danger. I hope that the spirit of this meeting can help those who need peace. ”
Mr. Guterres, who is taking part in the meeting of the “One Belt initiative, A street” in Beijing, called for an immediate <x2m> humanitarian ceasefire” in the war between Israel and the Hamas group militants in the Gaza Strip.
He called on Hamas to unconditionally free hostages”, referring to at least 199 people kidnapped by Palestinian militants during the deadliest attack in Israel's history.
