Kosovo Deputy Speaker Saranda Bogujevci was today part of the debate at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, where it was discussed the September 24th terrorist attack on Banjska.
In response to Serbian representative Biljanta Pantic, who in the same discussion claimed ethnic cleansing is taking place in Kosovo and that tensions have been raised in the wake of Albin Kurti”'s regime, Bogujevci stood up, showing the marks in his hands of bullets he had taken from the Serbian Army as 13-year-old.
Bogujevci told of her experience, stressing that the authors of the attack of the day are rulers in Serbia, and the same have never apologized.
“25 years ago as 13 years old I survived a massacre of the Serbian Army, which that world was led by people still leading Serbia. As 13-year-old I was lying in a pile of bodies in my family with 16 bullets. I still have these marks in my hand today, other parts of my body. And I see you 25 years after that, that we're constantly under attack in blind and other ways, eventually with a terrorist attack, is unacceptable. Enough is enough. There has never been an apology, there was nothing taken to bring justice, not only for what happened then, but now. People who carried out the terrorist attack on 24 September are in Serbia, and are not being tried”, Bogujevci said.
We remember that Bogujevci survived the March 28th massacre of 1999, where 16 members of the Bogujevci, Duriqi and Llugaliu families were killed by Serb paramilitary units. /Reporter
