Chief Democrat Lulzim Basha, as he visited Debar, where he saw the reality in which citizens are located, has demanded that corruption money be returned to citizens, and corrupt people will be brought to justice.
This strong message of Lulzim Basha comes a day after former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's son-in-law, Jammer Malltezi, was arrested, while for the former government's number one government, obligation measures were demanded, as they are accused of passive corruption and money laundering.
Basha, through a Facebook post, writes that all corrupt people are accountable to justice.
Basha's message:
Today, I was in Debar, where I saw closely the businesspeople's concerns about price hikes and the decline in citizen purchasing power that, with the small budget available, fail to meet all their needs.
That's the reality for years, merchants say. This has contributed to the massive departure of youth, including the exploitation of the agriculture and livestock sector in the area.
They face numerous difficulties, since lack of support for poor class, agricultural and livestock sector, market and workplace shortages, which has resulted in a decrease in purchasing power.
Poor citizens, high corruption. This is reality today in Albania that is forcing Albanians to leave the country.
So it is vital today to end impunity. The corrupt must render an account to justice and the money they have taken from Albanians to be returned.
Money that now goes into the hands of the powers to turn into good for the citizens.
We remember last night that the JKKO arrest warrant for Jammer Malltez was executed, and it gave them remandatory measures for Sali Beshasha and businessman Fatmir Bektash, who are accused of alienating property from the former Partizan complex.
You have passive corruption for cleaning. According to SPAK Malltezi, it has benefited more than 5m euros, without making any investments in the construction of towers in the former Partizan complex.
It was established that the former Prime Minister Besha is accused of passive corruption, after allegedly favouring his groom in acquiring property in the former Partizan complex.
