The Committee for Protection of Journalists (CPJ) has said that six journalists were among the civilians who were killed, injured or disappeared in the ongoing Gaza conflict.

On Saturday, three Palestinian journalists were shot dead while reporting.

They were Ibrahim Mohammad Laffie, a photographer for the Ain Media agency who was passing through the Gaza Belt to Israel, and Mohammad Jarghoun, a reporter with Smart Media, who was east of the town of Rafah at the southern Gaza Strip.

Independent journalist Mohammad El Salhi was shot dead at the eastern Al-Bureij border, a Palestinian refugee camp at the central Gaza Strip.

Ibrahim Qanan, an Al Ghad channel correspondent, was wounded in the town of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Two Palestinian photographers -- Nidal Al-Wahidi from the Al Najah channel and Haytham Abdelaeded by the Ain Media agency -- have also been reported missing since Saturday, writes Al Jazeera.
