Ahmetaj: Association issue, road to final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia

Former European Integrations Minister Mimoza Ahmetaj has said that the way of the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia is to the issue of the Serbian Major Commission Association.

Ahmetaj, in a direct link in Klan Kosova, has said that the draft draft statute proposal of the five European statute is more important to know the content.

I am very sure that within the agreement there are other points, which are of particular importance both for Kosovo and Serbia”, Ahmetaj has said.

But we've consistently said that the issue of Association is the key key that will unlock problems, or pave the way for the final agreement between the two parties”.

“I am very optimistic, if such an agreement is accepted whether or not it will be signed, it is a little important, the important is that it be accepted and such an agreement would pave the way for Kosovo to lift sanctions. The important thing is what the content of that agreement is, it has not yet been made public for public opinion”.
