Montenegro's Prime Minister, Dritan Abzovic, has said the Serb-sponsored terrorist attack in northern Kosovo has been discussed at the informal meeting of leaders at the Berlin Process Summit.

That before the media, after the agreement was signed to recognise some new professions among Western Balkan states, said it condemns anyone who committed criminal activities in the region.

There's been a discussion at the non-formal meeting that terrorist attack on the Zvecan Banjska, but I can't market details. Everyone has their own attitudes. My attitude toward that is very clear. Anyone engaging in criminal activities should be severely punished. The international community should also find its own responsibility for the thing that happened more north, but also with Bosnia and the entire Balkans”, he said.

However, it did not give a clear answer whether Serbia should be sanctioned by the EU in this case.

This is mentioned in conversation. The problem of Balkan states is that we can only pass the rules that others bring. That is a question for people in Brussels”, he said.

He underlined that the Western Balkans should be careful that pro-Russian policies are not present in the region.

Until it underlined that you don't think the Western Balkans are on the verge of any new conflict.

“We must be careful. Pro-Russian policies should not become dominant in the region. You have to make sure pro-European politics are immune. I don't think on the eve of any conflict in the region”, he said.

On the other hand, Abazovic praised Prime Minister Edi Rama for today's organisation of the Berlin Summit. /kp/
