Albania's police have arrested a Kosovar in Tirana with initials I.B.
The 20-year-old from Pristina was caught in the flaggart near the palace “Aslan Russia”. Information provided by police intelligence had revealed where they were suspected of carrying firearms from Kosovo to Albania, with the aim of selling them.
Albanian police during the operation “Transporter” has confiscated two firearms, power lines and ammunition, the costor vehicle and a mobile device.

Finalised by the Department for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking in DVP Tirana, in co-operation with the Task Force Operations Sector, the police operation codenamed “Transporter”.
Two firearms, weapons and ammunition, a vehicle, and a mobile device are seized.
The Service for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking in DVP Tirana, in collaboration with the Task Force Operational Sector, in the direction of the Prosecution Court to Tirana's First Court of General Jurification, following information provided by police intelligence, for a citizen suspected to have transported firearms, from Kosovo towards Albania, with their own intention, have organised and finalised the code-named police operation “Transport”
As a result, in the vicinity of the “Aslan Russia” palace, citizen L was captured and arrested. B., 20, resident in Pristina, Kosovo.
While checking for “type vehicle BMW”, which the 20-year-old ran, police services found hidden two firearms, with power and fighting ammunition, which had brought to Albania to sell to other people.
Fire weapons were seized in the quality of material evidence along with 20-year-old vehicle and mobile device.
It works for identifying other persons involved in this criminal activity.
Materials were passed to the Prosecutor at the Court of First Jurisdiction Tirana for further procedural actions.
