Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has confirmed that on Monday afternoon he will address citizens over the recent Kosovo talks.

Presequently, the media reported that Vuciqi will participate in the government of Serbia's session dedicated to the same topic on Monday and that after the session it will address citizens.

In an Instagram post, Vuciqi has announced that on Monday he will talk about “all the problems we face and the choices facing us”.

The date was one of the most difficult days for our country and I never hid from people in Serbia when such things happen. We're going to have a lot of trouble and problems that we're going to face in the future and we're going to need unity as far as I expected, because of the responsibility our political representatives had to show, we didn't get this (unity)”, Vuciqi said in the video posted on the Instagram.

Serbia's president has met with representatives of the EU, the US, France, Germany and Italy in Belgrade, with whom he has discussed the so-called Franco-German plan for Kosovo.

After that meeting, Vucinqi said Serbia is ready to accept the concept and work on implementing the proposed agreement on the Kosovo issue.

He has stated that during talks with Western diplomats “he has faced unequivocally the problems and challenges that would be placed on Serbia if he failed to comply with the proposed plan for the Kosovo issue”.
