Rama: I assure you the capital has had no impact on raising tax bills on property.

Rama says the capital has assigned the lowest possible percentage of property taxes, and that the municipality has had no impact on raising property tax bills.

Dear citizens,

Since yesterday I've got reasonable concerns from you about raising property tax prices.

To avoid confusion caused by statements issued so far, I want to make it clear to all citizens of the capital, who are the ones directly affected by this process.

Based on the Law's provisions in force for Taxation in the Palmy Property (point 17 of Law No. 06/05 and UA MF-Nr. 08/2019) The Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers is the competent authority for property assessment, while the capital under the same Law sets the percentage of property tax on the basis of the ministry's assessment.

The capital has assigned the lowest possible property tax rate. The lowest rate allowed is 0.15% of the amount set by the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers.

Therefore, I assure you that the capital has had no impact on increasing property tax bills, but the increase has come as a result of re-evaluation of property from the Ministry of Finance.
