The police didn't find him in the hospital: Isuf Zekiaj surgeon outside Kosovo on vacation

surgeon Isuf Zeqaj, who in July last year by the Kurti Government was entrusted with the position of member of the USKUK Steering Board, is the only one not arrested for the scandal at the Vushtrri hospital.

The case's procurement, Fetije Bajrami, in a proposal for Gazeta Inseder said surgeon Isuf Zakaj was not found at the hospital when police went to Vushtrri hospital to arrest him.

Zekiaj is out of the country on vacation. He's been contacted by the hospital to report to the police.

According to the prosecutor, Zekaj has said he will prepare immediately and leave for Kosovo to surrender.

The two surgeons, Ekrem Sefiu and Arsim Latifaj, have been arrested and the decision to stop is in preparation. They were arrested under suspicion of committing bribery. The third surgeon involved in the scandal, Isuf Zakaj, is on annual vacation abroad. The same has been contacted by hospital management by phone and has said she will be prepared to leave immediately to turn in”, the prosecutor for Inseder has said.

Three surgeons at Vushtrri Hospital allegedly received money from patients to perform operations.

Money from about 150 to 400 Euros, as confessed by patients and family members in four exclusive videos provided by the Shneta newspaper, doctors have obtained it on behalf of the purchase of the material (mainly the nets and clips) needed for surgery.

Among the surgeons is Isuf Zeqaj éfiaj chief of surgery at SP Vushtrri and member of the USKKUK Steering Board, and the two surgeons Ekrem Sefiu and Arsim Latifaj.

The three surgeons are also being investigated by Mitrovica's Founding Prosecutor.
