There is information that some money ended up at Kurti and Osmani”, speaks journalist who discovered the financial scandal in Slovenia

The information is that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani have received money from Martin Berisha for their recent electoral campaign, said Luka Persh, journalist by online medium Prava.si. Persh in an interview for Albanian Post restored the theme of Martin Berishaj, Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, which it found to have accepted 600 thousand euros from the Slovenian energy company GEN-I, branch in Belgrade.

In his research, he found that not thousands, not hundreds of thousands, but millions of euros in a scheme of this company, which using its branches across the Balkans, mainly Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Albania, has distributed money. Within the scheme and as a peripheral player was Martin Berishaaj.

In part of his writing, Persh writes that a certain amount of money from what Berishaaj received ended up in an electoral campaign in Kosovo, exactly at the Vetevendosje Movement and the Guso List.

Asked by Albanian Post, Persch claims that these are currently at the level of information, but his interest in the subject has little to do with what Berishaaj has done, but what Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob has done, which he says is the head of this Balkan financial scheme.

“There is information that part of the money from these Slovenian GEN-I branches, with the help of Martin Berishaj, has ended in the electoral campaign of Kosovo's current prime minister, Albin Kurti and Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani-Sandriou”, says Persh.

But is there evidence?

“We don't actually have fixed evidence, but ask yourself why some 17m euros have been transferred to GEN-I Tirana in 2021 by GEN-I in Slovenia”, he says, as long as in all this history he sees a person as very important.

There's also a person in this story, Arun Chaudhary, who worked for Albin Kurtin and his campaign, and he was a former employee of the Barack Obamas 48x1>.

Persh is convinced that “is at the beginning of a story that will turn into the biggest financial scandal in the Balkans in the last 20 years”.

For Martin Berisha and his involvement in Slovenia, neither Persh nor his media, Prava, but television Planet and online medium Siol.net reported.

Martin Berisha on display before the parliamentary commission in Kosovo, invited to the issue, had said it was all slander and for that he filed charges.

In the knowledge of Slovenian journalist Persh, there is no indictment filed by Kosovo's ambassador for the two media.

The first time Martin Berisha's relatives have shown it has published television plans TV and online media Siol.net. As far as I know, Martin Berishaaj has not filed a lawsuit. Maybe you'd better ask these media and their editorial board themselves, and they'd better tell you”.

The complete Albanian Post interview with Luka Persh, journalist by online medium Prava.si:

Albanian Post: What do you know so far about the GEN-I case, payments abroad on their filters and the reasons for these payments?

Luka Persh: GEN-I is the largest electricity company in Slovenia. In past years (2016-2021) there have been incomes between 1 billion and 3 billion euros. In Slovenian media the former GEN board leader has been treated as a god. But it was actually just an inflated balloon that exploded in the first serious case.

As for what Peter Gergoicic discovered on TV Planet's Moci Bridge show, GEN-I lost 700 million in 2022. Now how does it reach 3.5 billion in 2021 in income, but in 2022 there was 700 million losses?

Where did the taxpayers' money go? Thus, in one of my writings ahead of the parliamentary elections in Slovenia, I have written out where at least 355m euros have disappeared in the last sixteen years. With some experts in the field of electricity, I realized that GEN-I should have at least 3 to 5 percent of annual net profits. In 2006-2021, they reached an annual average of 1.49 percent of the net annual return.

Where did the rest of the taxpayers' money go? So I set out to study remittances from abroad on the Winder website. I noticed remittances from abroad mainly went to Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Cyprus (the Rudnap Company), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Albania.

So I found in one of my writings that they through financial operations in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania have ensured that 100m euros from Slovenian taxpayers' money will disappear in unknown countries. The only solution for this case is for GEN-I Serbia, GEN-I Albania and GEN-E of Bosnia and Herzegovina to reveal all accounts for the period 2015-2021 and we will soon discover why the filials in these countries needed the so-called financial bank loan of the central company from Slovenia.

Albanian Post: Is it, and if so, how is current Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob involved?

Luka Persh: In fact, he bears the greatest responsibility. GEN-I is the ancestor of I Company GES, which was established in 2002 with capital assistance from the state-owned company Istrabenz. In 2006, the company was actually purchased by Slovenia's state and became the central owner of GEN-I through GEN Energy Company. Robert Gorob and his team have been in charge for sixteen years. He built an octopus electro with sixteen philias abroad. Interestingly, the representative of subsidiarys in Albania, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina is there all the time, Dr. Igor Koprivnicar, current president of GEN-I and longtime organiser of financial operations under the leadership of Robert Golob.

Koprivnicar was the legal representative of 12 foreign subsidiarys. Hence, Robert Gorob actually bears the greatest responsibility for all transactions that took place.

Albanian Post: What do you know about Kosovo Ambassador to Croatia Martin Berishaaj, in what form is he involved? Some say that this whole story is just a media campaign close to Janez Jansha against Robert Golobi, is it true?

Luka Persh: Martin Berishaaj is a person of great influence and strong ties to the biggest political representatives in Slovenia. When near Martin Berishaj erupted, some media close to the leftist parties tried to cover the vicinity with some photos of Berisha and Jansha in the past. Even though Berisha has expressed his support for Janshan himself before parliamentary or European elections in the past.

It is true, the vicinity erupted several days before last April's parliamentary elections in Slovenia. But you know the details, because you've been following him and reporting him.

Albanian Post: Are you close to Janez Jansha?

Luka Persh: Like any journalist, I cooperate with politicians of all political colors in my articles. I have concrete relationships with most of them. I talked to Janez Jansha once in my life for 20 minutes. Because of the past the centre's media with an editorial policy clearly on the left referred to me as Yash's first investigative reporter, because I worked on an online news media Nova24tv, the leading right-wing media in Slovenia.

By September 2021, I founded online media Prava.si, where mainly we are dealing with Slovenian transitional deviations. But, here's the case, in the past I've noticed in your Albian Post medina that online media editor Necsenzurirano Primo) Cirman has commented near Martin Berishaj. Currently, only this media now applies to the Slovenian government and Robert Golob. But, several months after the April parliamentary elections, Ciman's former colleague, Vesna Vukovic, became the leader of public relations in the party, which is led by current Prime Minister Robert Golob.

Cirman's wife, Petra Bezjak Cirman, became the task of UKOM President “Urada vlade za communicirije”.

But each journalist does his job only from his own perspective. I'm used to such insults and negative comments, so I take them as part of my job.

Albanian Post: Martin Berishaj has said he has indicted the medium, who has initially reported on the case because of libel. Do you know anything about this has been done?

Luka Persh: The first time Martin Berisha's relative has shown it has been published by television planet TV and online media Siol.net. As far as I know, Martin Berishaaj has not filed a lawsuit. Maybe you'd better ask these media and their editorial board themselves, and they show you better.

Albanian Post: What do you know so far, do you have concrete information that some of the money received by Martin Berisha has ended up in the Vetevendosje Movement and the prime minister, Albin Kurti?

Luka Persh: There is information that part of the money from these Slovenian GEN-I branches, with the help of Martin Berishaj, has ended in the electoral campaign of Kosovo's current prime minister, Albin Kurti and Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu.

Currently, we have no fixed evidence, but wonder why nearly 17m euros have been transferred to GEN-I Tirana in 2021 from GEN-I to Slovenia. There is also one person in this story, Arun Chaudhary, who worked for Albin Kurt and his campaign, and he was former Barack Obamas' employee. He has also helped in the same year Slovenian activist Niki Kovach, also a beneficiary of a scholarship from the Barack Obamas foundation. I believe we are at the beginning of a story that will turn into the biggest financial scandal in the Balkans in the last 20 years.
