Monastirski is among the 14 victims that caused the helicopter to drop on a children's nest, killing 1 minors. Authorities corrected the figures after initially reporting 18 victims. 29 others were injured by whom 15 children.
The civilian emergency helicopter shown in these footage minutes before the accident was launched by Kiev towards war zones with the Russians east of Ukraine. The causes of the accident remain unclear, but so far no one has blamed the Russians. The head of the Ukrainian secret service said all leads are being investigated, by sabotage, technical defect or violation of flight regulations.
