Mehmeti: Over 3 billion euros spent on diaspora this year, inflation is expected to drop to 6 per cent

According to the BQC's first, over 600 million francs were sent from Switzerland alone. Governor Mehmeti has said that during the January-September period, 570.7 million have been sent, including travel expenses of 267.8 million, remittances 171.4 million and foreign direct investment 132.5 million.
Mehmet added that economic growth in 2022 is up to four percent. Kosovo's economy began in 2022 with a good outlook as a result of 2021 success, which was marked by a 10.75 per cent increase.
During 2022, changing global dynamics, the consequences of the war were followed by increased inflation, change of monetary policy, increased interest rates, and slowdown in world trade growth. According to the CEC's assessment, forecasts are that economic growth this year is three to four percent.
Like IMF predictions, Mehmeti said. Mehmeti said that average inflation by November 2022 has reached 11.2 per cent, which is 3.4 per cent higher compared to the previous year.
