Iljasa Fazliu dismissal required from the QKUK logo service

The Centre for Social Information and Upgrade has requested Ilysa Fazliu's dismissal from the KKUK logo service following the scandal in which he was arrested for child abuse. This centre has estimated that Fazliu's return to work by SHSKUK poses a danger to citizens' public health and harmful precedent.

We remember that child abuse, especially of children with autism who represent one of the most vulnerable levels of our society, has long-term consequences on their mental health. With this decision, KSKUK puts all children who can seek logoped treatment at risk of further abuse, among other things, depression, anxiety, or suicidal thinking. This also strengthens the normalisation of violence, making it institutional and unpunished”, said in response.

We remember that the USKKUK has never sponsored Fazliu, though the same man was arrested and held in custody. He was only suspended from the disciplinary Commission until the decision to get back to work.

Full response from the Information Center:

BE SHOOKING ABUZER, ISRAIN FAZIU

In late November a video of the logo Ilyasa Fazliu was published, in which clearly he was abused by a child with autism at the private clinic “AAR LOGO PLUS” The same has held the position of Chief of the Logopedia Service Leader at the Ororonolaryringology Clinic without license from the Kosovo Infermies' Oda, as required to practice the logos work. After dawn, Ilyasa Fazliu has dropped from the U.D. position. and has been arrested for violations of the Health Law, where he has been held in custody for a while.

Today, though the facts about the abuse exercised by Ilysa Fazliu are public and unequivocal, and the same is still under investigation as and has yet to accept his license from the Oda of the Infermies of Kosovo, he continues to work at the SKKKU as logoed.

Ilysa Fazliu's decision to return to work poses a danger to the public health of Kosovo citizens and a harmful precedent. We remember that child abuse, especially of children with autism who represent one of the most vulnerable levels of our society, has long - term consequences in their mental health. With this decision, KSKUK puts all children who can seek logoped treatment at risk of further abuse, among other things, depression, anxiety, or suicidal thinking. This also strengthens the normalisation of violence, making it institutional and undesirable.

For us, this is unacceptable. As a service that should be centralized to patients' needs, not to maintain abusers who cover under the professional's clothing, the SHSKUK has to provide the highest standard of services it provides. Therefore, we request the immediate dismissal of Ilyasa Fazliu from the SKKUK and the disciplinary commission who have enabled his return. These dismissals are necessary to provide a safe work space and regain citizens' trust. Every other step is unacceptable.
