Chris Parry, 28, was last seen Friday with British colleague Andrew Baghshaw, 48, headed for the town of Soledar in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.
The men had volunteered to help people evacuate from the front line after Russia's invasion of the country in February 2022.
The Parry family said in a statement: “We are very concerned about the health and location of Chris now”.
He's an extraordinary person who's painful and careful and won't leave his job in Ukraine, for whom we're very proud of”.
We all love him very much and we would be grateful if our privacy were respected at this difficult time”, writes The Guardian
