Bislimi: French-German plan supports Serbia's stance currently having conditions for mutual recognition

The chief of the Kosovo negotiating team and the number two of Kosovo Governments, Besnik Bislim, in an interview for Euronews (the Serbian language edition) has spoken of the Franco-German proposal through which a Kosovo-Serbia agreement is being reached. Bislimin said that if there is a focus on the “elements, you're”, then you're going to [...]

Bislimi has said that if a focus on the “elements is made on the jure”, then the Frank-German proposal is supporting Serbia's position that there are currently conditions for achieving mutual recognition.

“I repeat, we should not reveal the elements of the documents, but if we focus on the “jure” elements, then we can say the document supports Serbia's position that there are currently no conditions for mutual recognition”, Bislimi told Euronews questioned whether within the proposal is and mutual recognition, the newspaper Express.

He has now said that the parties have agreed to keep the details of the proposal secret, however, says that the moment there is some kind of progress, then the public will be informed of everything.

You yourself now state that the proposal is classified. It's not a secret because it contains something that the public shouldn't know and discuss, but it's a secret because there's been an agreement at first to keep the point of the agreement away from the public eye so that we don't violate the procedures ourselves. However, the moment we make some progress, everything will certainly be announced”, Bislimi has indicated.
