Zelensky: Donetsk is the number one goal for Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his latest presentation, has said the military situation east of the Donnetsk region is extremely serious.

We're doing everything we can to stop enemy activities. Now Donnetsk is our number one goal, since Donbas remains the number one goal for invaders”, Zelensky added.

Russian forces have invaded almost the entire region of Luhansk, slowly advancing through the Donetsk region.

Meanwhile Zelensky and the heads of security organs in Ukraine have been meeting today to plan methods to counter “the Russian's new weapons”, as Moscow has stepped up attacks using Iranian fears.

“During the meeting have particularly discussed the enemy's new weapons, and have drafted plans to drop such butterflies”, said the statement issued by Ukraine's president's office.
