They are called Mansour Ahmad, Ahmad Khatib of Amir Hossain Nikai, and anyone who gives substantial information about their figure can be rewarded up to $10 million by the US Treasury Department.
The reason? They are suspected of being responsible for the cyberattack undertaken against the government system on July 15th 2022, with Iranian Secret Service commander MOIS, as well as for the attack on two months later in Albania, which was undertaken to the T system. IMS.
Albania, has held Tehran responsible for both events, and because of the first one, it has unitally interrupted diplomatic reports among the countries, driving out Iranian diplomats in Tirana.
Of the three exhibits, not only are the charges of acts against Albania burdened, as these are simply the end.
Americans suspect that the three hackers are involved in cyberattacks undertaken in the United States, mainly in the local systems of Mississippi and Indiana.
The charges, however, do not determine whether the three have been working or under the Iranian government's tunnel, but in a report attached, it is suggested that they are involved near the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, which is practically an Iranian force in the matter of security and intelligence.
These sanctions have also been attached to a direct move to the Iranian Intelligence Ministry and the minister responsible for this dictatorship, due to attacks in Albania.
In other ways by American intelligence, meanwhile, it has been suggested that the three -- like Ahmad, Khatib and Nikaei -- are Iranian citizens who are employed in large technological companies operating in Iran.
This, however, is thought to be simply a preaching task for their real activity.
Part of the American sanctions, there have been 10 persons and two entities, for roles in the performance of malicious cyber acts, including Albania.
Washington, has pledged to hit Iran strongly for attacks on Albania and will operate together with Tirana to undo any possible attacks.
The decision to announce three names on that list and to award $10m for information is clearly in pursuit of Albania's political rotating support in this respect, as allegations fall on the involvement of the three hackers in the Tirana attack.
