The Pristina municipality is issuing official documents only on emergency cases and proving true.
Public Administration Director in the Pristina municipality Bersant Beka says that since the start of the strike in the municipality has been extremely difficult.
The demands of the citizens are great, but now we're on strike and our officials are banned from the Union to do the job, and then we have a hard time working. Based on the meetings we have had with the Union those requests for various certificates that citizens need to apply for visas at various embassies, they are issued but must prove that the embassy's term is within one or two days”, Beka told Radio Kosovo.
Citizens are the ones undergoing strikes in the public sector, which have included the country.
“has caused long lines and delays of people in everyday life, and delays are then being caused at work and everything. All over the city, we only have to head for one point with one camera. I'm waiting for the family certificate because I can't get the certificate out of the camera. In addition to long lines, the system is being blocked, the lack of paper inside the ATMs that we extract the letters, even because of technical problems, except we wait, we remain without getting the document”.
On the other hand, Public Administration Director Besant Beka in Pristina municipality expects the Government to reflect on the situation.
I expect the government to reflect and not neglect these demands of the Union and, based on reflection, to facilitate our work as well. The strike is not municipal, it is state-owned, and I ask Prime Minister Kurti to leave his anger behind and find a solution”, Beka has said.
However, until the strike breaks down citizens will continue to face expectations and problems to deal with the documents they need.
