Nova leader and Democratic Front official Andrija Mandic briefed President Milo Djukanovic this afternoon that the old parliamentary majority nominated Midorag Lekic for mandated formation of the new government.
This was done informally, through a letter saying that election winners of August 20, 2020 have reached agreement with the formation of the government, and the president addressed “efficiency on your part”.
In addition to this letter, as the Montenegrin news portal “Attenham.net” teaches, the signatures of the proposal parties for the mandated Lekic have not reached the president today.
The reason, says AntenaM, that signatures have not gone to the Presidencys has to do with the fact that only 32 signatures “have been collected”, and that the five SNP signatures, three URA signatures and one of Civs, <x2munging”.
What fate awaits this political confusion may become known tomorrow, says Montenegrin media.
“What became clear tonight is that, in anticipation of Djukanovic's movement, the Democrats pointed to URA, the prime minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazovica, of which they said he's bluffing in a classic way”, writes the Montenegrin medium.
