The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation reports that despite all preparations for the start of the new school year, from incomplete information, primarily the communication of MASTI officials with municipal officials, they have been informed that most schools in Kosovo have not held lessons because of the BSPK-declared strike.
According to Ministry data, the situation differs from school to school, where in some, learning has been held in part.
Also, as the Ministry of Education, we are informed of numerous political pressures in schools. Respecting the right of those on strike we expect even the right of teachers who are not on strike and want to work. The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation once again called on the municipal education directors to respond to the commitment and maintain institutional communication about the continuation of the school learning process. School doors should not be closed. Loss of learning is a violation of children's basic right to education”, says the Ministry of Education communiqué.
