The report says that until the nurse's confusion, there has been another birth, and the nurse of the Neonatology Clinic has provided uninhibited information by confusing cases, misinterpreting parents.

In terms of media reports that “have changed babies” to the Gynecological Obstetric Clinic, the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo reports that it is not about switching babies, but it is about authorising information from the nurse and revealing information.

Regarding the deceased baby during its delivery time, the birth patient was informed by gynecologists of health complications and that her baby would not survive.

To the confusion of information, there has been another birth. Neonatology Clinic nurse has provided non-inflicted information by confusing cases, misinterpreting parents.

The Neoantology Clinic Management has requested written statements by all caretaker staff, and the case will be processed further, according to legislation in force.

The SKKKUK Directorate recalls that in the recently released information circuits, it has announced clinics and hospitals, that only doctors, department chiefs or clinic directors who convey the state of health of patients, but not nurses and other employees, who are not directly concerned with the treatment of the case.
