Democratic League of Kosovo deputy Driton Selmanaj, in an interview has spoken about the assassination threats to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, stressing that all these news has originated in Serbian cuisine to keep people in tension.

On the other hand, the former deputy prime minister said that justice organs should be taken over with this issue in order to clear the case.

MP Selmanaj said that if this is completely false, then one should see who is behind this situation.

These are very unknown issues. In the last 20 years in Kosovo we have never heard such news, assassinations. All of this originated somewhere in Serbian cuisine to strain the situation, the political scene in Kosovo to keep all the people of Kosovo tense. These should be taken with maximum disregard as citizens, but as justice organs do their job to white-light everything, because for the interest of Kosovo there are two very important issues.

If there are such arrangements as those and who are behind them. And the next issue we're interested in is even if it's completely fake, then we need to see who's sending these fake messages. I think someone stands behind these situations with a view to straining and restoring subjects like we have a problem with each other”.

When speaking of the government's work, Selmanaj added that they have no problem with Albin Kurti as a person, but the way he is ruling with the country.

According to him, the government is having no interest in meeting trade unions, and has been barricaded, while children are left without schooling.

Among other things, LDK deputy Selmanaj said the prime minister has no problem only with unions, but with all other sectors, not excluding the media as well, EO reports.

We don't have a problem with each other. We only have a problem with governing logic. I have no problem with Albin Kurt as a person. We have trouble ruling with the country.

I'm under the impression the government has an interest in solutions. The biggest and most complex problems, meanwhile, do not show even the minimum care that the government meets on daily grounds and that they would have to meet to negotiate so that this issue can be closed quickly. But the government has been barricaded on one side and trade unions on the other and the kids are out of school. This approach is completely unacceptable and I think the basic problem is with the Government. The only address that has to solve problems in Kosovo and not just for strikes, but for every situation Government is the address that needs to find solution”.

I have the impression that this prime minister does not properly understand the constitutional responsibilities he has. The problem exists children aren't going to school, teachers are taking a strike. It's not the work of a T-shirt. Niteman Jasharaj speaks on behalf of hundreds of teachers and students. He talks about membership. That's how you work in the union. This prime minister has not only trouble teaching, but also veterans. There's a problem with the public sector, health with the media. This is impossible to deal with the troubles of this country”, Selmanaj said.
