Russia in one day, 10,000 volunteers for the war in Ukraine

He added that the military has created call centres to answer the questions of citizens and organisations related to mobilisation.

Following Putin's announcement, more than 1,300 people were arrested throughout Russia on Wednesday, during anti-movation protests.
Russia has begun its unprotested invasion of Ukraine on February 24th. Putin, who calls the invasion “special military operation”, on September 21st reiterated the position that his aim is “crim” of the Ukrainian eastern region of Donbas.
The publication of the mobilization came a day after separatists in four regions controlled by Russian forces in Ukraine . Donjeck, Luhansk, Herson and Zaporija Qaeda announced plans to hold so-called referenda for joining Russia.
Votes in the so-called referenda will begin on 23 September and last until 27 September. Kiev and the West condemned plans for these votes, meanwhile, have described the mobilization declaration as escalation of war in Ukraine, which has nearly entered the eighth month.
