MPs from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo ranks, Pal Lekaj and Besnik Tahiri have sought dignity for pensioners.
According to Lekaj, pensioners have easily feasible demands on the part of the government, which are: to eliminate the obligation for pensioners to be notified every six months to prove they are alive and for the Government to share subsidies every month, until the pension sum increases.
On the start of the autumn session in the Kosovo Assembly, along with MP colleague Besnik Tahiri, in support of pensioners, in the symbolic action “Dience for pensioners”. Their demands are modest and feasible, to eliminate the obligation for pensioners to be notified every 6 months to prove that they are alive and for the Government to share subsidies every month, until the pension sum increases. Price growth has complicated the well-being of any category of society in the country, so these demands will be backed by the AAK parliamentary group. Their implementation should be done as soon as we can --” -- wrote Lekaj on Facebook.
