Kurti again: Belgrade, Moscow to think well before operating in Kosovo

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been presented in an interview for CNN International with journalist Christiane Amanpour, where he has talked about the security situation in the Balkans and Kosovo's fragile reports with Serbia. Kurti has not denied the possibility of a conflict with Serbia, as they have said, given close ties [...]
“Intervention of NATO in 1999 was run by the United States of America and we depend on American security”.
“Belgrade and Kremlin must think twice before operating in Kosovo”.
Kurti has said Belgrade has multidimensional ties to the Kremlin, which is highlighted through economic and military co-operation they have. According to him, this close co-operation endangers a new warbed after that in Ukraine.
It is possible because in the Balkans we have the Kremlin regime in Serbia. Belgrade is linked to the Kremlin through the economy and the military. Russia's Defence Ministry has an office at the Office of Defence in Serbia. Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro recognise Kosovo, but not Serbia. Serbia admits even the crimes committed in the years of 1998-99, when NATO intervened to stop the Serbian genocide”, Chief Prime Minister Kurti stressed.
Kurti, citing reports by the Freedom House organisation, has said Serbia is not a democracy but a hybrid regime. He has presented Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic as an autism deciding on everything in Serbia.
“According to Freedom House, Serbia is a hybrid regime. Serbia is a man's show. It's not a democracy. The president decides everything there”, he said.
While Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabyq's accusations of lack of democracy in Kosovo and suppressing the rights of Serbs in the north, Kurti has responded by saying the Serbian prime minister has been allowed to visit Kosovo.
According to him, she has seen democracy in the country and has stressed that Kosovo is more independent than Serbia, since it is dependent on Russia.
I have allowed Brnabyqi to visit Kosovo's north to see how democratic it is. Kosovo is more independent than Serbia, because Serbia is dependent on Russia”, Kurti stressed on CNN.
Speaking of Serbia's demands for the functionality of the Association of Serbian municipalities, Kurti has said he will not be included in the establishment of a Serbian Republic in Kosovo of the kind that exists in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Kosovo will not allow a kind of Republika Srpska in Kosovo. I do not have the will to get involved in an agreement to compensate for Serbia's losses in the Milosevic regime, but for improving the lives of Kosovo Serbs. I hope Brussels will assess this and we will reach a legally recognised agreement based on mutual recognition”, Kurti has declared.
According to the prime minister, the legal debate on Kosovo's status has ended, but what needs to be concluded now is the abnormal relationship between Kosovo and Serbia. He has also talked about the border reciprocity that Kosovo has imposed on Serbia.
Kosovo is recognised by most EU states. Legal debate over Kosovo is over, and we have to end the debate on abnormal reports with Serbia. 11 years ago, Serbia had established separate documents for all Kosovars entering Serbia, and we decided to do the same. We had some tension, because illegal structures made free movement difficult, but with the help of KFOR and American diplomacy, we settled the situation. We're making reciprocity, or we're going to put documents on both sides, or neither. I prefer none of the”, he's gone.
He has also talked about the KSF's involvement in NATO training missions. He has said the defence budget has increased.
“Even though Kosovo is not in NATO, NATO is in Kosovo. We are empowering the defense, but the police have declared Kurti as well.
