Selmani said salaries for doctors and nurses should increase conform economic growth promoted by the government.
A rule is set to have salary increases every year after economic growth. Our request is modest, and we have taken it as a reasonable requirement with which we spend this 10-12 month. For doctor 300-350 euros and nurses 100-150 euros. Worse off are our nurses and technical staff, starting with bakers in hospitals, guards, cleaners who have coexistence, and during the pandemic they had a very heavy burden”, he said in T7.
Selmani said that by February the requests were addressed in the government but that they did not accept answers.
We have had this request since February, but we are witnesses that social dialogue has been interrupted from the managerial level at QKUK to the Health Ministry. We've been trying to have our daily affairs figured out, but we've never received an answer to”, he said.
