KED spokesman Viktor Buzhala has spoken about Indesksonline, analyzing the situation Kosovo is expected to face. Buzhala has said Kosovo hosts an unpredictable winter.
Kosovo is currently in energy crisis, since last year we are currently in emergency situations, the situation is fair, unfortunately rather than low consumption, during September a consumption increase has been observed, which goes up to 5% at a monthly level, while in recent days growth has been very large. P, sh yesterday has been 10% more than the same day last year, indicators are worsening. Currently the situation is stable, there are no electricity restrictions, demand is being covered. But, we're scaring you a lot of winter, what will happen during the winter when demand keeps rising away, because citizens warm up with massive electricity”, Buzala points out.
Buzhala called on citizens not to warm up with electricity but to choose alternative forms. According to him, not only Kosovo is in energy crisis but the whole of Europe.
Our constant <x0ppel is that citizens are not warmed up with electricity, because they are deciding to warm up uncertainly, because not only Kosovo but all Europe is entering turbulent energy, unpredictable situations and we don't know how much and how this electricity” will take place, Buzhala continues.
spokesperson Viktor Buzhala has said Kosovo is hosting a very difficult and unpredictable winter. It emphasises that citizens are in danger of coming back if they continue to warm up with electricity.
There are three factors that increase stability or predictability. The first is local production, the second is demand and the third is prices in international generations. Local production is currently as much as the capacity assigned and cannot be moved, demand is what can be moved. If demand is compatible with domestic production then we won't have any problems, but unfortunately the indicators are that the situation will be worse than last year when prices were only in the sky, and this year prices are noticeably higher than last year. So the situation is very unpredictable, but what we can now say is that we have an extremely difficult and much harder winter ahead of us than last year. As we enter turbulent waters, citizens need to be heated with alternative forms, as electricity threatens to reach”, he announced.
Although the diapers and other alternative forms have undergone great growth, Buzhala said that the coat is one of the most likely alternatives to heating.
He goes on, with diapers, spending is safer because it knows how much they spend, and with electricity it's not safe, for indexonline.
If the diaper is too expensive, but if a family spends three tons of diapers during winter, those 3 tons of diapers actually cost about 1500 euros, but if that amount turns into electricity, which we release 3 tons of diapers is equal to 10,000 euros, so the heat of electricity is obviously more expensive than the heat with the diapers and energy at the end of the day somebody will pay it back. If we want to continue the power supply, each cost has to be covered, and the second one is that heat is safer, because they know how much they spend and it's a cost they can control. With electricity, heat is not safe, and we don't know how much and how this will depend on demand, from international markets, from Russian gas games, then European demand for electricity”, Buzhala points out.
