From Iron's cabinet: Kosovo to get highest economic growth, Serbia smaller

Blerind Danjolli, adviser to Finance, Labour and Trade Minister Iron Murati, has said Kosovo will be the economy with the largest economic growth among Western Balkan countries.

That, according to him, will be the period of 2022-2024.

“over this period, Kosovo will grow %1 faster than the BB6 average and 1.2 % more quickly than Serbia”, Danjoll wrote at Titter.

He refers to the World Bank says “Serbia is the country with the slower growth in Western Balkan countries”.

Kurti government was proud of the economic growth marked last year.

But due to the crisis in global markets, the country is marking its 19 per cent inflation rate according to World Bank data.

The opposition pointed to “government inaction”.

They seek faster measures, as many international credit institutions have predicted a difficult winter.
