Through a status on the social network Facebook, former Education Minister Enver Hoxhaj has said that today it has been four weeks since 320 thousand students and 23 thousand teachers have lost 23 days in school year's 185 days.
A great loss of multidimensional consequences for the students' society and teaching performance! And all of this for one single reason: the lack of a government political will to offer a solution to teachers! It is vital for every student and for all of Kosovo to reach an agreement between the Government and the SBASK!” has written Hoxhaj.
On the other hand, Hoxhaj wrote that the PDK invited parliamentary debate to bring back students to class and interrupt the strike, supporting a solution that is transitional, according to him.
With their stubbornness, the Government and Prime Minister Kurti are not offering a transitional solution, because, not why they follow a savings policy, but because they have a policy of submission! The problem with the strike is not a matter of financial copying, but of authoritarian thinking. Such an opinion does not see the dam with the SBASK as a platform for political solutions. She doesn't trust compromise as a way to solve problems in democracy, but she trusts the policy of submission.” wrote Hoxhaj.
