Honey to finger: A product of unknown origin, a podueva merchant banned

A man has been arrested in Podujevo, allegedly selling industrial honey of undefinition, presenting it as natural honey.

Police have reportedly checked two locations, where 652 jars of industrial honey have been found.

Food and Veterinary Agency inspector has found that the goods are uncertain.

The case has been initiated, such as banned trade & production and the circulation of harmful food items

“Podujeve 07.09,2022 After an investigative job, the Kosovo male suspect has been identified, who has sold industrial honey of undefined origin, presenting it as natural honey. Co-ordination with the prosecutor and the judge has become the control of two locations where 652 jars of industrial honey have been found. At the scene, the AUV inspector who found out that the goods are uncertain and that there has been an extermination of goods at the scene. The suspect following the prosecutor's recommendation interview has been released and the case is prosecuted in regular procedure”, police report reported.
