The government announces Kurt's meeting with Flocken and Jasharain: We're committed to dialogue.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo has announced the meeting, which had with European Education Union General Director Susan Floken, saying they informed Mrs. Flocken of increasing the education budget for 12%. “Nated by this and within the government's support for educators, Prime Minister Kurti [...]
“Solden by this and within the government's support for educators, Prime Minister Kurti briefed Mrs. Floken said the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has increased the budget for education this year for 12%. He also reported to Packon on confronting inflation, worth 150m euros, which provides financial support to public sector workers, including teachers, through the additional 50 euros, minimally for all remaining months of the year. Such growth exceeds the inflation rate in the country”, says the Government's announcement.
Among other things in this announcement, the government reportedly remains committed to dialogue and awaits the subsequent reaction by the Grevist” Council.
This meeting between Kurti, Flocken and Jasarwright did not bring about any solution to disrupting the strike in education.
Floken, at a media conference, has stressed that he supports all teachers and the United Education, Science and Culture Union.
“I came from Brussels especially to find a solution to this issue, I have to tell you we had a long exchange, but we failed to find a choice for this”, she said.
