Mandl stressed that dialogue must have clear results, mutual recognition. Kosovo has waited too long to have results in the” dialogue.

The publication of the paper concerning the new framework of dialogue, he has called it conspiracy theory and a secret agenda.

Mandl has also talked about the integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union, as well as increasing Russian dezination after aggression in Ukraine.

The entire Europe has been attacked since February 24th and not only Europe, but the whole world. The European Union has much to do specifically to appeal to member states that have not yet recognised the Republic of Kosovo to contribute to European values for Western Balkan countries”, he said in an interview for Telegrafi

He has also talked about visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens.

I have almost lost patience and I appreciate the patience that many people in Kosovo have because the issue is prolonged. Visa liberalisation deserves Kosovo's people. Kosovo has fulfilled all criteria”.

Asked if there would be visa liberalisation in 2023, Mandl said that if I had any wishes, it would be that this would happen even earlier.

As for the Open Balkans, Mandl said Austria supports everything when the criteria are met and dealing with real business development and real economic relations where there will be inclusion, job creation, youth having good opportunities for their future, and that would be highly appreciated.
